The Outstanding Accounting Educator Award honors an outstanding educator in the field of accounting who has made a lasting impact in the field of accounting education.


Nominees must:

  • Be a GSCPA member in good standing.
  • Have a minimum of ten years of experience as a full-time accounting educator.
  • Demonstrate significant contributions to accounting education and/or show a meaningful impact on the lives of their students.

The award is presented each fall during a ceremony held in conjunction with the GSCPA Board of Directors and The Educational Foundation meetings. As part of its commitment to supporting educators, The Educational Foundation also provides financial assistance and active participation in the Georgia Association of Accounting Educators.

The deadline for nominations is October 1.
