Our next chapter meeting will be on Thursday, July 16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Circle 75 900 Building (ground floor conference room). The meeting will begin with dinner and networking followed by presentations from these two speakers:

1 - Darcy Pyle, Director of Taxpayer Services Division. Ms. Pyle manages the customer contact information, business support and operations and electronic services. She has 20 years of experience in managing operations in the taxpayer services division. She will provide an update on the Georgia Department of Revenue.  She will discuss current state tax issues including tax return processing and conformity with federal tax laws.

2 - Himanshu Chaudhry, CFA is the managing director for PKF O’Connor Davies Advisory LLC. He is a corporate finance advisor with broad experience in strategies to create business value and assist owners in realizing that value.  He specializes in ESOPs with the ROTH feature, Valuation and Capital Structure applications. He has years of experience in Valuation, investment Banking, Equity Research and Debt Research. Mr. Chaudhry is going to provide us with a presentation on Strategies relating to ESOP Transactions including how to dissolve an ESOP.

This will count for 2 hours of CPE. The cost to attend is $30 if you register before Tuesday, July 14. After that, the registration cost is $35 and dinner is included. We look forward to seeing you there!
