Our next chapter meeting will be on Thursday, September 17 from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. at the Circle 75 900 Building (ground floor conference room). The meeting will begin with dinner and networking followed by presentations from these two speakers:

1 - David Hern, a business advisor and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Sofer Advisors, LLC. Mr. Hern will identify the client events that create a valuation need. He will describe how institutional capital entered the profession. He will discuss the application of enterprise valuation drivers to your own firm or your clients’ firm. Mr. Hern holds both BS and MBA degrees from Georgia Tech. His credentials include designations as a CPA and a Certified Valuation Analyst.

2 - Carl Nicpon, is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Mr. Nicpon will go beyond the scenes of the M&A process. He will discuss how buyers evaluate a company, what drives competition and value and where deals commonly go wrong. He will identify what owners can do now to improve the eventual outcome. Mr. Nicpon holds a BA Degree from the University of Notre Dane and a Master of Education Degree from Loyola University Chicago.  

This will count for 2 hours of CPE. The cost to attend is $30 for members if you register before Tuesday, September 15. After that, the registration cost is $35 and dinner is included. The cost to attend is $40 for non-members and guests. We look forward to seeing you there!
