Our chapter’s next meeting will be held Thursday, October 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Mill Starch Room. Our guest speaker is Shell Knox Berry, President and CEO of the Community Foundation for the CSRA. She will be presenting "One Million Threads. One Shared Mission."

Here is some additional information on our speaker: Shell Knox Berry is the President and CEO of the Community Foundation for the CSRA, a role she has held since 2015. Under her leadership, the Foundation has grown from $60 million to over $215 million in assets, received $234 million in charitable gifts, and made more than $184 million in grants to the community. Shell brings a background in nonprofit management, finance, investment banking, and business. Her experience includes work with the Atlanta Ballet and Banc of America Securities in Chicago and Atlanta, as well as owning a retail business. She serves on several local boards, including the HUB Augusta Collaborative, the Augusta Economic Development Authority, and Augusta Tomorrow. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Union Presbyterian Seminary. She is a graduate of Leadership Augusta and Leadership Georgia and holds a BA in communications from Wake Forest University and a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
