Major Topics

In this no-holds-barred episode, Dr. Tim Naddy sits down with Drew Carrick, widely known as The Rappin’ CPA, to explore what happens when accounting meets authenticity. From his viral YouTube videos to rapping about journal entries, Drew’s unconventional approach to the CPA profession is more than a gimmick—it’s a call for creative disruption.

They dive into identity, burnout, storytelling, and why “lame and safe” will never inspire the next generation of CPAs. If you’ve ever felt like the only creative in a cubicle, this episode will remind you that you’re not alone—and you’re exactly what the profession needs.
