Lynsey Barron
Lynsey Barron is the principal at Barron Law LLC where she practices in the areas of white-collar litigation and investigations. She is also a Visiting Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Law where she teaches courses in Federal Criminal Practice, Sentencing Law and Policy, and White-Collar Crime. Lynsey is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where she prosecuted economic crimes and public corruption. Before forming her own law firm, Lynsey was a partner at Miller & Martin PLLC, where she chaired the firm's White-Collar Crime and Investigations practice. Lynsey was also in-house counsel at UPS, where she managed internal investigations; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and UK Bribery Act investigations; trade compliance; and data privacy and cybersecurity. She spent several years at Jones Day practicing commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Before becoming an attorney, Lynsey had a career in politics and worked for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and was a federal lobbyist. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Berry College; a Master's Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law. She clerked for Hon. Beverly B. Martin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
