Bobbi Gwinn, CPA
Bobbi Gwinn, CPA, is an assistant project manager at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). In this role, she provides research and technical accounting support primarily on projects related to leases and revenue recognition, and is responsible for analyzing technical accounting issues and developing potential solutions that contemplate both the needs of financial statement users and related implementation outcomes. Prior to joining the FASB, Bobbi was a manager in KPMG's Accounting Advisory Services practice in Manhattan. In that role, she provided consultations on various U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) technical accounting matters. She also consulted on Regulation S-X and S-K U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters for equity offerings, acquisitions and divestitures. Bobbi is a member of the AICPA. She holds a bachelor of commerce (honours) from the University of Delhi and is also a Chartered Accountant (India).
