James R. Shields III, CPA
Jim is a partner with the Real Estate Group of Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP. He has extensive experience managing and conducting audits of companies in a variety of industries. His primary focus is on the real estate development and management, construction, retail, hospitality, and financing industries. He is familiar with the government regulations regarding housing and financing requirements. He also provides tax services for individuals, partnerships and corporations. Jim has experience with the various requirements of real estate development, construction, and management. This background includes multi-family affordable housing and the low-income tax credit program, along with development stages of real estate ventures. He has been involved in a number of start-up companies in these industries, and has assisted in arranging financial, operational and tax structures for these new companies. In addition, he has conducted due diligence and assisted in various mergers and acquisitions in his area of expertise. Jim earned his BBA from Auburn University.
