Lisa Milot, J.D.

Lisa Milot is an Associate Professor at the University of Georgia School of Law where she teaches classes in Property Law, Trusts & Estates, Estate & Gift Taxation, and Estate Planning. Her primary research interest is the regulation of the human body, including the regulation of markets for human body materials and the use of performance-enhancing substances. Prior to coming to Georgia Law in 2007, Professor Milot was a tax partner at Ivins, Phillips & Barker in Washington, DC where she specialized in estate planning for high net worth individuals. She is a member of the Virginia and DC bars.
