Chad T. Teague
Mr. Chad T. Teague is the Managing Director of the Development Authority of DeKalb County. This Authority has issued over $1.5 billion in both tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions. Chad advises the Authority Board on the financial feasibility of potential bond issuances as well as aids in determining the cost/benefit for a transaction. Chad works closely with DeKalb County's CEO's office, Commissioner's office and Tax Assessor's office to develop financing structures which promote new business establishments and business retention for DeKalb County. He also works closely with prospective businesses in analyzing financial structures that will assist them in maximizing profitability. Chad received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest's Babcock Graduate School of Management. He also completed the European Studies Program at St. Peter's College at Oxford University in England. He is currently studying for the Level I Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam Chad resides in Suwanee, Georgia. He is affiliated with the DeKalb Workforce Center as Chairman of the Board, the Georgia Economic Developers Association, and the Southern Finance Association as Treasurer and Board Member, the Church of the Hills finance committee. He serves on the House Corporation Advisory Committee for the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta at the University of Georgia.
