Ryan Harchar
Senior Research Analyst Current Responsibilities: Ryan Harchar joined Jones Lang LaSalle in May 2012 as a research analyst focused on Atlanta's industrial real estate market and the various drivers of the logistics-based economy. He has since transitioned into a senior analyst role dedicating his attention to the Atlanta office market. He adds value for clients by tracking and communicating the interplay between real estate and macroeconomic trends - in context with the broader business cycle. Experience: Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Harchar was Director of Research for the local commercial real estate firm Richard Bowers & Company. While in the role he supported the brokerage team with analysis of the office, industrial, retail and multifamily markets; skills cultivated while a licensed investment property broker at KW Commercial. Prior to his work as an agent he was a project manager with DeNyse Companies, a national vendor to the commercial real estate development industry. Education/Affiliations: Mr. Harchar received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of West Georgia majoring in both Real Estate and Business Management. He then undertook graduate studies at Mississippi State University, earning a Master of Business Administration with a focus on corporate finance and statistical analysis. He is seeking his CCIM designation as well. Currently, Mr. Harchar is affiliated with the Atlanta Commercial Research Council, a local network of real estate research managers and analysts as well as the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors where he served on the Governmental Affairs Committee in 2011. Mr. Harchar offers a unique perspective on the market through his broad industry experience, education and passion for architecture and urban planning.
