J M. McComb II, CPA, MAcc
J. Marshall McComb II, CPA, MAcc is an Accounting Lecturer in the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Mr. McComb holds a Master of Professional Accountancy Degree and a BA in International Relations from Kennesaw State University. He has taught introductory financial accounting, auditing, international accounting, and intermediate and advanced accounting. From 2000 to 2009, Mr. McComb has been the co-founder, advisor and or Chief Financial Officer of various venture backed firms (domestically and internationally) in accounting and internal control consulting, telematics, entertainment, venture capital, and manufacturing and distributions industries. Mr. McComb was previously the operations manager of the largest travel emergency assistance company in the USA. Mr. McComb began his career in public accounting as an audit senior with Grant Thornton (Atlanta, GA), specializing in manufacturing and distribution. Subsequently, Mr. McComb was hired for a two year contract by Ernst & Young (Cayman Islands, BWI) where his specialty was conducting the audits of hedge funds, captive insurance companies, international banks, and offshore domiciled, US exchange traded companies.
