Tom Tillery is Vice President and co-founder of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. He serves as the firm's Chief Compliance Office and Chief Financial Planning Strategist. Paraklete® Financial, Inc. designs and implements comprehensive financial planning strategies. The company's focus is on independence and objectivity in order to be the client's financial advocate and as such, does not manage assets or sell products. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in financial planning, insurance, investments, philanthropy and tax planning. He has provided these services to businesses, individuals and families of substantial wealth. Tom has a Masters of Science in Financial Services from The American College, and also holds a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, Chartered Life Underwriter ®, Chartered Financial Consultant ®, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, and CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELORSM. Tom is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. Tom has been a provider of Continuing Legal Education for attorneys and Continuing Professional Education for accountants, financial advisors, and insurance professionals. Tom is an instructor at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia Executive Programs and has been a national instructor for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM exam reviews. Tom is also an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Tom and his family reside in Kennesaw, Georgia.
