Laurie D. Busbee
Laurie spent the first 20 years of her legal career analyzing insurance policies and litigating coverage disputes between insurance companies and policy holders. She now employs those analytical skills in the estate planning world as part of the Legacy Studio Estate Law team. Laurie’s practice focuses on helping clients design their estate plans and guiding administrators through the probate process after the loss of a loved one. She has repeatedly been named as a Georgia Super Lawyer and one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Georgia. Laurie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Atlanta Bar Association, serving as Past Chair for the Small Firm/Solo Practitioner Section of Atlanta Bar. She is also a former Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel. Laurie earned her B.S. at the University of Dayton and her J.D. at the University of Miami. Originally from New York, Laurie settled in Atlanta after she graduated from law school. She is married with two-step daughters and is an avid baseball fan, golfer, and traveler.
