Mike P. Merrion
Michael P. Merrion, Esq., is a tax attorney in private practice in Denver, Colorado whose practice is directed primarily toward representation of taxpayers. He has written and instructed programs for the Colorado Society of CPAs since 1990 and has participated in numerous conferences on various tax related issues with the Colorado Society of CPAs and other professional organizations. He was the major contributor to and editor of the texts, Taxation of Foreign Investment in the U.S. and Tax Planning for Canadian Investment in the U.S. Merrion is the Colorado Society's past Professional Development Board Chair and past chair of the Curriculum and Development Committee. In addition to several undergraduate degrees, Merrion holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law and a Masters of Laws in Taxation (LLM) from the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program.
