Brian K. Rochester, Executive Vice President of Rochester & Associates, Inc. will discuss the planning and engineering methodologies of developing master planned communities. His presentation will focus on the development of an Atlanta area community of primary residences and a resort community of second and retirement homes. Brian's presentation will include a discussion of the due diligence and yield studies to create a master plan incorporating sound engineering practices with environmental, aesthetic and financial considerations. Also to be discussed are geophysical issues include challenging topography, wetlands, flood-prone areas, and required tree preservation as well as man-made constraints relating to infrastructure and other elements of the built environment.
