Stacy Collins
Stacy Preston Collins, CPA/ABV, CFF is a Managing Director at Financial Research Associates, with offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York (www.finresearch.com). She manages forensic accounting and business valuation engagements and has been actively involved in the field for 17 years. She has provided expert witness testimony in several states. Ms. Collins' experience includes matters related to marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, estate and gift taxes and transactions. She is a frequent speaker on valuation and forensic accounting issues, to financial professionals, attorneys and judges in a variety of forums, and is one of the co-authors of Financial Valuation: Applications and Models, Third Edition, and is a contributing author to the Family Law Services Handbook. Ms. Collins graduated from Drexel University with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Ms. Collins holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designations from the AICPA. She is Chair of the AICPA's Family Law Task Force and is a member of its Forensic and Litigation Services Committee. Ms. Collins is also a Candidate of the American Society of Appraisers, and is a member of the Expert Resource Connection. Ms. Collins has been a faculty member at the American Bar Association's Family Law Advocacy Institute for many years and has also participated in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers' Institute for Training Family Law Associates each year since 2006.
