Philip E. Laminack, CPA
Phil is a tax partner with Forvis Mazars and leads the firm’s U.S. tax accounting services group. With over 20 years in public accounting, he has extensive experience overseeing the compliance and reporting life cycle for complex, multinational organizations, both public and private. Phil is a frequent conference speaker and panelist on topics related to income tax accounting. He’s been published in The Tax Adviser and served as a presenter for national events for the AICPA, Bloomberg Tax, and Tax Executives Institute. Phil also works extensively in tax planning and analysis related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Phil is a graduate of University of Georgia, Athens, with an M.Acc. degree, and a graduate of Kennesaw State University, Georgia, with a B.B.A. degree. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
