Gov. Deal Appoints Clayton Huffman to State Board of Accountancy

The Georgia Society of CPAs would like to congratulate Clayton Huffman, CPA as the new appointee to the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.

Clay is a manager for Frazier & Deeter, LLC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). He serves on the GSCPA Leadership Council and the GSCPA Young CPAs Advisory Council

Clay is a member of the Assurance and Advisory Services Practice of Frazier & Deeter. Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter in 2012, Clay spent four years in the audit practice for one of the Big Four accounting firms where he served large public companies and private companies in the middle market. 

Clay works mainly with middle market companies in the private sector, focusing on retail, manufacturing and distribution companies, service providers, technology and software companies, and general contractors.

Clay works very closely with Frazier & Deeter’s audit methodology to ensure quality and consistency of procedures throughout the assurance practice. He focuses on industry groups such as retail, manufacturing & distribution, construction, hospitality, and the professional services industry group.

Clay earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting and a master of accountancy in audit from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Andrea, reside in Atlanta.
