John W. Pennington III, CPA
Wes Pennington is a director in the Atlanta office of PwC. His career spans 30 years as a practicing CPA, industry executive, and forensic accounting consultant. He has been team leader on over 200 civil, criminal, and internal investigations, ranging from accounting malpractice to investigator for a receiver in Madoff-type investment schemes. He has testified over 25 times, and qualified as an expert in state, federal (including bankruptcy), and U.S. Court of Claims. Mr. Pennington is a CPA, licensed in Georgia and Texas, and holds other credentials including Certified Turnaround Professional, and Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor. He holds BS and MBA degrees from the University of Alabama.
