Shaina Ferris
Shaina (Barth) Ferris Head of Property Broking – Retail & Distribution Relevant Experience/Specialization Shaina leads the Retail & Distribution Property Broking team within the Retail & Distribution Industry Vertical Division. Shaina is based out of Atlanta, and also leads the Southeast Property Broking team regionally. Shaina is responsible for the overall strategy and designing, marketing, managing, and administrating complex property insurance programs for large national and multinational Retail and Distribution clients. Shaina has over thirteen years of property experience specializing in providing creative risk transfer solutions for large complex property clients that purchase significant limits and utilize global capacity. ¦ Expertise in Catastrophe Exposed Clients ¦ Global Program Implementation ¦ Current and Former Client base includes a broad range of Retail & Distribution clients that range from large, global, bricks and mortar clients, to online platforms with difficult distribution network exposure. ¦ Analytical Based Program Design Shaina started her career with a Large Brokerage Firm in Atlanta, GA in 2011 with their National Property Practice placing large and complex property schedules with a focus on Catastrophe exposed risks. Shaina joined Willis New York in 2014 in the National Property Practice, again with a focus on complex and international property risks, specializing in programs that utilize the Global marketplace. From January 2019 to August 2021, Shaina was in Bermuda on the Property Placement team where she was responsible for the General Property book of business. When returning to the United States, Shaina was in Los Angeles from August 2021 to November 2022, working for the National team working on complex placements. Shaina returned to Atlanta in November 2022 to lead the Southeast Property Broking Team, and shortly thereafter was appointed the Retail & Distribution Property Broking leader.
