Brian Anderson
Brian is a native South Carolinian but has resided in Georgia since 1998. He and his wife Heather moved to Dalton in 2000 with their two children, Douglas and Sarah Whitney. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a BS in Economics. After serving four years in the US Army as a Military Intelligence Officer, Brian entered the world of business spending 10 years in the Coca-Cola system both with assignments with Coca-Cola Bottlers and the Coca-Cola Company. In 2000, he came to Dalton and joined Dalton Beverage Company as a Sales and Marketing Executive. In 2004, he was elected Chairman of the Whitfield County Board of Commissioners. He served from 2005-2008. In 2008, Brian was selected and appointed to serve as the President & CEO of the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce. Brian is a member of First United Methodist Church where he teaches Sunday school and serves as a Lay Worship Leader. He currently serves as President of the Dalton Rotary Club, and the boards of the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission, Georgia Northwest Technical College, and the Thrive 2055 Regional Initiative. Brian was recently honored as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians of the Year.
