Marc Hamilton, CPA CGMA CFO, Treasurer CDG Engineers & Associates, Inc. Current Chair-Elect of the Alabama Society of CPA's. Graduate of Athens State College with a BS Accounting and of the University of Alabama with a Masters in Tax Accounting. Worked in public accounting with Deloitte in Nashville and with KPMG in Atlanta and also have held senior tax executive roles in publicly traded Retail companies Service Merchandise and Saks 5th Avenue. Began work in the Timber and Manufacturing sector in 2001 when I began working for Gulf States Paper / Westervelt Company, a large private timberland holder and lumber manufacturer. In 2007, I accepted the position as Treasurer for Westervelt Company. In 2015, I accepted a position as CFO with CDG Engineers & Associates and began a new learning experience focused on the Engineering service sector.
