Wes Moss is a managing partner and Chief Investment Strategist at Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). CIA currently manages more than $1 Billion dollars in client assets, making it one of Georgia's largest Fee-Only investment firms, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Wes is also a partner at Wela, an online wealth management firm. Wes hosts Money Matters, a live financial advice show heard on Atlanta's News 95-5 and AM 750 WSB Radio every Sunday from 9am to 11am. In 2012 he was named as one of the top 40 fee-only investment advisors (under 40) in the country by Wealth Management Magazine. In 2014 Barron's Magazine named him as one of America's top 1,200 Financial Advisors. In addition, since 2010 Wes has been a weekly guest financial columnist for the AJC.com. Wes is now also the chief writer and editor for About.com's financial planning section. Every week he emphasizes financial literacy and accessible investment strategies. "Ninety-five percent of people who have retired successfully are ordinary people doing the basics right," said Moss. "They've saved 15 percent of their paycheck every year. They didn't buy a house that was too big for them. They stayed at one job for a long period of time instead of moving all around.
