Susan Rash
Susan Maley Rash, CEBS, REBC, Vice President, BB&T Insurance Services, Inc. Ms. Rash works both on client plan design consulting and assists across the BB&T corporate footprint as chair of the Health Care Reform practice. She has been in the HR and employee benefits consulting business for nearly 30 years, and holds both CEBS and REBC professional designations. Ms. Rash was one of the owners of Benefit Consultants of Virginia and became part of the BB&T family of insurance agencies in 2002. Ms. Rash has been speaking to employer and business groups since March 2010 to explainPPACA. She recently completed two years as the Legislative Chair for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), and is an active panelist for Governor McDonnell's Virginia Health Reform Initiative (VHRI) task force. In the fall of 2012, Ms. Rash was invited to the White House to speak with administration officials on employer concerns with PPACA compliance and implementation issues.
