Charlton P. Calhoun, CPA
Charlton Calhoun is a CPA and Certified Information Technology Professional with over twenty years of professional experience. Throughout his career in accounting, Charlton has used spreadsheets and databases, and has written custom software to solve business problems. He takes special interest in enhancing accounting procedures and efficiency through technology. Charlton served as an adjunct instructor for eight years at Southeastern Technical College, where he taught various accounting and computer application courses. He began instructing with the Georgia Society of CPAs in 2006, and leads the popular "bring your own laptop" hands-on series of technology courses. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is currently employed as Controller for the Georgia School Boards Association in Lawrenceville, GA.
