Nathan S. Lummus, CPA
Nathan Lummus graduated from the University of West Georgia, where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. Afterward, Nathan joined Marshall Jones in January, 2007, as a temp, and now serves as audit partner for the firm. During his tenure at Marshall Jones, Nathan continued his education and graduated from Liberty University, where he obtained a Master’s of Science in Accounting. Nathan created and leads the firm’s employee benefit plan practice to ensure the quality, effectiveness, and compliance of ERISA audits. He also has experience providing assurance services across multiple industries, provides outsourced controllership services, peer review of employee benefit plans, and heads up the nonprofit tax services division. Nathan met his wife, Kelly, in 1994, at a backyard Bible school, and has been by her side and in church ever since. The call to adoption hit the Lummus family in 2008, and Nathan and Kelly have four beautiful children. Due to that experience, they served on a ministry team at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia, that promoted adoption and orphan care.
