Robin Scott, CPA, CGMA
Robin Scott, CPA, CGMA, is a director in the Little Rock audit practice at Thomas & Thomas LLP. Robin has over 35 years of diverse experience in both public and private accounting. Throughout her career, Robin has provided audit, accounting and consulting services to state and local governments, school districts and tax-exempt organizations. Robin graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Business in 1981. She joined Thomas & Thomas in 2012, with previous public accounting experience at Deloitte and Ernst & Young. Robin is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Arkansas and is a member of the AICPA and the AICPA's Not-for-Profit Section, the GFOA, the ASCPA and AGA. Robin is an adjunct professor of accounting at Hendrix College and the University of Central Arkansas, teaching governmental and nonprofit accounting classes to graduate level students and is on the board of directors of the Union Rescue Mission. Robin also serves as a special reviewer for the GFOA to evaluate Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR) submitted by state and local governments for consideration of the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
