Alan F. Rothschild Jr
Alan F. Rothschild, Jr. is a partner in the Columbus, Georgia law firm of Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild, LLP. He focuses his practice on estate planning, charitable gift planning and the representation of exempt organizations. Alan is Chair-Elect of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section, a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and Past Chair of the State Bar of Georgia's Fiduciary Law Section. He is a frequent speaker on estate planning, exempt organizations and professional ethics in estate and charitable planning, including programs sponsored by the American and Georgia Bar Associations, Internal Revenue Service, Georgia Federal Tax Conference, Association of Small Foundations and Southeastern Council of Foundations. His articles on these subjects have been published in Taxation of Exempts, Estate Planning, Probate & Property and The Practical Tax Lawyer. Outside of his practice, Alan has served on a number of non-profit boards, including the Columbus Museum, Georgia Museum of Art, Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley, Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and the Southeastern Council of Foundations.
