Christina Paloski, CFO
As Chief Financial Officer of The Atlanta Opera, Christina spearheads the financial strategy and growth of the 10th largest US opera company. She leads in developing essential infrastructure and systems that support their financial goals and organizational strength, directly enabling their mission to enrich the Southeast through regional performances. This encompasses impactful community engagement, education initiatives, film studio, resident artist program, and opera resource sharing, establishing The Atlanta Opera as a widely accessible resource for expertise, sets and scenery to smaller opera companies across the US. She is directing the transformation of a historic local building into the new Molly Blank Center for Opera, featuring a state-of-the-art recital hall and rehearsal spaces, and their future home in 2027. For over 12 years, she served as the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development at the University System of Georgia Foundation (USG Foundation). The USG Foundation is dedicated to advancing Georgia's 26 public colleges and universities through scholarships, leadership training in philanthropy, asset management, and institutional advancement. Her 20+ year career in the nonprofit sector encompasses finance, business strategy, organizational development, operations, change management, and information technology. Prior to her role at the USG Foundation, she founded and led Accounting Solutions Group (ASG) for over a decade. ASG provided consulting services to nonprofit organizations in Georgia and the Washington D.C. metro area, specializing in governance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency through accounting, financial literacy, and software implementation. Before founding ASG, she gained experience in tax preparation and audit services at a CPA firm in Alexandria, VA. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and Virginia, holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University, and a BS in Accounting with a minor in Public Administration from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
