Webcasts

The GSCPA has multiple options if you are interested in online CPE.  Now you can virtually attend an event through a GSCPA webcast or through one of our webcast partners - ACPEN, CPA Crossings, and Surgent McCoy.  Virtual attendees are provided with login information upon registration, and can view and listen to the event from the comfort of their own office.  It doesn't get any more convenient than this!

ACPEN

The Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN) CPE network, sponsored by State CPA Societies in many states, is dedicated to bringing, highly relevant, interactive, world-class CPE to every CPA in the most convenient and economical ways possible. To view and register for upcoming ACPEN webcasts, click here.

Note: If you have not purchased a webcast from ACPEN through the Georgia Society of CPAs in the past, you will need to create a new login and password in the “Register” section in order to make a purchase using this site. We are no longer using the old catalog system. Once you have created a new login and password for this catalog, you can use it going forward. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

ACPEN’s 2010 CPE course schedule is available at www.ACPEN.com, along with a list of CPA societies that are affiliated with the network.

CPA Crossings

The Georgia Society of CPAs has partnered with CPA Crossings, LLC to provide you with access to an extensive catalog of CPA Technology Best Practices webinars. These courses are delivered in a “live webinar” format that allows you to participate from the comfort of your office or home. Click here for a link to the complete catalog.

* To Qualify for CPE

Registrants will earn CPE for attending a webcast at the same rate as if you were attending in person.  However, in order for a webcast to qualify for CPE, participants must sign-in no later than the scheduled start time and are expected to actively participate throughout the program. The instructor will periodically ask for participation in the form of questions, simulations, polling and other interactive exercises. Participants are expected to complete these tasks and are required to in order to receive CPE for attending and participating in the event. At the end of the course, each participant who meets the participation requirements will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
