AICPA Staff Training Courses


Public accounting firms can rely on the GSCPA to provide high-quality, on-target, basic to advanced training for new staff accountants. Not only is the information tailored to the needs of local CPA firms, but the instructors themselves are from local CPA firms and know full well the daily challenges that face new staff accountants. The emphasis on these programs is to give new accountants a solid foundation in preparing audits and compilations and reviews while improving communication skills and supervisory abilities.

Seminars

The Georgia Society of CPAs offers a wide variety of seminars, ranging from 4 to 16 hours that typically focus on a single topic that are developed and presented by experts in the field. Some of our outstanding vendors include the AICPA, Loscalzo Associates, Surgent McCoy and K2.The GSCPA also presents two premier seminar events each year: the Don Farmer Tax Update Seminars and Clusters.

Seminars are scheduled across the state, as well as at the GSCPA Training Center in Atlanta, giving attendees the opportunity to attend seminars near where they live and work.
