The North Atlanta Chapter's next meeting will be on Thursday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Two Barrett Lakes Center. There will be 1 hour of CPE credit and dinner is included. This meeting's topic is "Beneficial Ownership Rules – What CPAs Need to Know". Our guest speaker will be Kara Hedrick, a Solution Architect at Wolters Kluwer working with the top 500 firms. As a Solution Architect, she collaborates with Strategic and National Account Managers to provide product presentations, webinars and seminars, specializing in CCH Axcess.  In addition, Hedrick assists with developing implementation plans to ensure an efficient and effective software implementation. 

Beneficial Ownership Rules is a hot topic in the news – particularly concerning for service based consultants for businesses such as attorneys and accountants.  Kara will talk about the new Beneficial Ownership Rules that are required of businesses so that CPAs can advise their clients.  She will discuss considerations that CPAs need to implement in their processes for those that decide to provide BOI compliance services for their clients.  She will also briefly demonstrate a solution for CPAs that are providing such services.
