This course serves as a guide to the rules and regulations of the Georgia State Board of Accountancy. This CPE session qualifies for the one-hour of Georgia rules and regulations specific ethics now required for license renewal. The Georgia Society of CPAs is an approved provider.

 

Objectives

  • Explain how the state regulates the practice of public accounting in Georgia
  • Describe the Georgia State Board of Accountancy and its role in protecting the public trust
  • Summarize the rules that govern CPA behavior in Georgia, including those that relate to CPE and Professional Conduct
