Maria D'Alessandro, CPA, CCM
Maria D'Alessandro is a Senior Vice President within Wachovia Treasury Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the Practice Leader for Working Capital and is responsible for consulting with Wachovia's clients on various issues regarding the effective utilization of cash.
Ms. D'Alessandro recently joined Wachovia with more than ten years of financial
experience and was most recently Director, Receivable Management at Delta Air Lines. In this role Maria was responsible for the order to remittance process which includes cash management, credit, accounts receivable, collections, and bank reconcilements.
Prior assignments include managing Delta's financial analysis department, which analyzed the cost/benefit of all capital expenditures. Prior to Delta, Maria worked at the public accounting firm of Ernst and Young as a senior auditor. Ms. D'Alessandro is a CCM (certified cash manager) and is a CPA.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business andEconomics with a concentration in Accounting from Lehigh University.
