Robert T. Willis Jr, CPA
Robert T. Willis, Jr., CFA,CPA is a shareholder, and the chief investment officer, of Willis Investment Counsel, where his responsibilities include protfolio management and equity research. He is accredited in business valuation by the AICPA, and handles valuation expert witness duties for the firm. From 1976-1978, he was with the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Company in Atlanta. Mr. Willis has authored a number of articles for the Estate Planning Journal including "Preparing Valuation Reports to Withstand Judicial Challenge," "Steps to Protect the Fiduciary from Liability for Investment Decisions," and "Charitable Remainder Trusts as a Risk Management Tool." Mr. Willis holds a B.B.A. from Emory University School of Business.
