For corporate real estate organizations, this includes driving improved transparency into key real estate portfolio and operational metrics in order to reduce spend and improve value to the enterprise. For real estate investors, Mr. Herrenkohl’s focus is on driving improved operating efficiency, risk management, and organization structures. Mr. Herrenkohl has a deep functional expertise in strategic planning, outsourcing, and all facets of digital innovation and cost reduction. His work has spanned complex transactions with Fortune 1000 companies, extensive work in private equity and with REITs, pension funds and institutional real estate investors. Mr. Herrenkohl’s interest in technology innovation has led him to explore applications in smart buildings, intelligent automation, blockchain, and cyber security. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Herrenkohl led EY’s Global Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction Consulting practice, overseeing all aspects of the corporate real estate, construction and real estate investor advisory services business worldwide.
