Steve is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of hands-on experience in senior management roles such as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Board of Director. Prior to his consulting career, Steve worked in the retail and manufacturing industries. During his years in business he has developed recognized expertise in the areas of finance, information technologies, logistics, strategic planning, credit relationships, and asset protection. As a business improvement professional, Steve's skills include information technology, operational reengineering, organization change and change managment. He is also well versed in inventory management, inventory shrink management, supply chain, store operations, logistics and distribution, organization realignment and restructuring, external spend management, loss prevention and all central office operations. Prior to found SMART Retail Solutions, Steve was principal with Crossroads, LLC, serving the firm's retail, manufacturing and service clients. Steve holds a BS degree in Business Administration from University of Minnesota. He is a CPA and is a member of the AICPA, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, and the Turnaround Management Association.
