Kenneth R. Rosenfield
Kenneth Rosenfield is the founder of Rosenfield & Company, PA with offices in Orlando, Florida and Manassas, Virginia. Ken has been practicing public accounting since 1980 and founded his firm in 1996. His prior experience includes working with National CPA firms (Main Hurdman and Coopers and Lybrand) in addition to serving as managing partner of a local firm and as a partner with a regional CPA firm. His emphasis in automobile dealerships and related companies began at the outset of his career. His dealership practice is national in scope and his clients' range from small single point dealerships to some of the largest groups in the country. He is an active member of the Auto CPA Group and is a consultant to the National Automobile Dealership Association on tax and accounting matters, most recently regarding the Mountain States Ford issue. Mr. Rosenfield graduated with a BS in Accounting (with honors) from Old Dominion University and has been involved in numerous professional and charitable organizations including Symphony Orchestras and a Zoo. His professional involvement includes serving on the AICPA Tax Accounting Committee and Subchapter S Committee in addition to being the former chairperson for the FICPA State Taxation Committee. Ken is a frequent speaker at dealership organization meetings throughout the United States and is the course author and discussion leader for the Florida Institute of CPA's courses, Automobile Dealerships - An In Depth Perspective and Automobile Dealerships, Services to Clients. His work for these courses has repeatedly earned him an FICPA Outstanding Presenter award and he has presented them to other state societies across the country. He is also in the process of writing a treatise on Automobile Dealerships for Aspen Publications. Mr. Rosenfield was the President and working partner of a group of automobile dealerships in Indiana; and serves on the board of directors of several dealerships throughout the country. In his spare time, Ken is a devoted husband to his wife Jodi and father to his four children ages 11 though 21. He enjoys deep sea fishing on his Sport fishing boat, the Sea P. A. and playing one of his many guitars.
