Marlan L. Nichols, CPA, CVA
Marlan graduated from the University of Georgia in 1977 with a BBA in Accounting. He began working in the utility industry in 1977 and moved to public accounting in 1985 when he joined Hopkins, Nichols & Associates, which subsequently became Nichols, Cauley & Associates. Marlan has been involved in the GSCPA in several chapter and statewide capacities and is currently serving as Chair-Elect. He has also been involved in community organizations including the Museum of Aviation Foundation, the Air Force Association, Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce, Kid's Connection, Rotary Club, and the AICPA, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the University of Georgia Terry School of Business Alumni Board. Marlan is married and has three children and two grandchildren.
