Stephen C. Underwood, CPA, JD
Mr. Underwood is the Lead Appeals Team Manager for the Atlanta IRS Appeals Office. Mr. Underwood has spent most of his career with the IRS. Prior to assuming the Lead Appeals Team Manager position, his positions with the IRS included Revenue Agent, Examinations Group Manager, and Appeals Officer. He also worked in public accounting for the Atlanta office of Read, Martin & Slickman for one and a half years. Mr. Underwood holds an undergraduate degree from Auburn University and a law degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Law. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA's and the State Bar of Georgia. He is a native of Atlanta.
