Michael McGowan, JD, CFP, has been a stockbroker, lawyer and a trust department portfolio manager whose portfolio responsibilities exceeded $145 million. He has chaired arbitrations for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) since 1988. He also has written Personal Finance columns for the ABA Journal.
