Member Monday Spotlight: David Attaway

Meet this week’s #MemberMonday, David Attaway!

David is married to his wonderful wife, Kristen. They have two beautiful children, their son Connor, who is 5 years old, and their daughter Charlotte, who is 1. Their family is complete with their beloved golden doodle, Roxie. Originally from McRae, GA, they now call Dublin, GA, home. David graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Master of Accountancy in 2010, thanks to the guidance and inspiration of his mentor, Dr. Lowell Mooney, a former GSCPA Chair. He has been with Symphona since 2011 and currently holds the position of Audit Director, specializing in financial institutions. When he is not crunching numbers, you can find him behind the drum kit at Liberty Church, where he enjoys playing music. Since 2020, he has also been proudly serving on the Georgia Southern Parker College of Business Young Alumni Board. In the past, David has volunteered with the Dublin-Laurens Arts Council, and he is currently serving as the treasurer for his local GSCPA chapter, Heart of Georgia. His family loves spending vacations at the beach and he is passionate about supporting Georgia Southern football and baseball.
