Born on May 12, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia. A 1970 honor graduate from Lanier High School in Macon, Georgia. Graduated cum laude from Georgia Southern College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Georgia beginning in 1975. Certified as a Certified Financial Planner by the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners beginning in 1989. Employed by Arthur Andersen & Company in Atlanta, Georgia from 1973 to 1975 as a Staff Accountant. Worked in Public Accounting in Savannah, Georgia since 1975. Became an owner of the now Skinner, Bamdollar & Lane, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, in 1981.
