Charlie has over 40 years as a tax practitioner. He is the senior tax member in his firm. Charlie's practice focuses in on Wealth Preservation Planning, and he is a co-author of two manuals regarding this subject.
Charlie speaks and writes nationally on a variety of legal and tax topics including tax planning, elder representation, wealth preservation planning, legal ethics, and tax-exempt organizations. Charlie excels at turning complicated tax laws into understandable, practical applications. He has conducted many courses throughout the country for the AICPA including AICPA's Federal Tax Update, High-Powered Tax Planning Strategies for Your Best Client, and The Dos and Don'ts of Tax Practice - Sleeping Better at Night!
Charlie earned B.S.B.A. and J.D. at the University of Arkansas. The Arkansas Society of CPAs named Charlie as its Outstanding Discussion Leader for 1996 and 1998. Charlie was selected by his peers as one of "Arkansas's Best Tax Lawyers", in the Arkansas Times, July 2002. He is also a recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association's "The Best of CLE" 1997 to 2001 and was named "The Best of The Best CLE" in 2000.
