Jeffrey L. Sailor, CPA
After earning a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a short stint with a "Big Eight", Jeff Sailor opened a fullservice accounting firm in Ocala, Florida. His clientele range from small retail businesses to diverse national corporations. Jeff decided to create Jeff Sailor Seminars in 1992 to combat what he calls "boring CPE." Tired of the same old rambling instructors pointing to plain overheads, he began researching, creating and teaching accounting courses that educate AND entertain. Using a variety of creative teaching methods, sprinkled with humorous video spoofs of movies and television shows, Jeff keeps his audience awake and actively learning. He also adapted his "live" seminar to an action-packed, interactive DVD self-study course. Jeff has taught CPA's in many states throughout the country for Jeff Sailor Seminars, state societies and Fortune 500 companies. He has also spoken at the NASBA national conference on how to make education more engaging. He serves as an AICPA Peer Reviewer focusing on small firms and sole practitioners. He has also served on the resource committee for the Private Company Financial Reporting
