Christopher J. Leach
CHRISTOPHER S. LEACH, CPA Mr. Leach graduated from Brigham Young University in 1982. After graduation, he worked as a member of the financial service development team of Mountain Fuel Supply Company, were he was responsible for designing a computerized government reporting system for public utilities. He began his public accounting career in New Mexico where he specialized in auditing and the development of computer Systems. In 1987, Mr. Leach joined West, Turnquist & Schmitt, Accountancy Corporation, as management advisory services manager with particular emphasis on computer system design, implementation and evaluation. He became a shareholder in 1992 In November of 1993, he left West, Turtiquist & Schmitt to form his own accounting firm, Leach Consulting & Accounting. The firm specializes in providing consulting services in tax, business management & information systems. Mr. Leach believes in becoming an integral part of his clients' management team and providing proactive support. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Leach has an international client base. Mr. Leach serves in Mexico, Central America, Canada, Finland, France, and Australia; as well as clients across the United States. Mr. Leach is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as the chairman of the Management Information Services Steering Committee of the American Group of CPA Firms. Currently, Mr. Leach is the chairman for the information Technology Practices Subcommittee for the AICPA as well as a task force member for Electronic Commerce Assurance Services which developed the WebTrust program for websites. He is a past member of be executive committee of tile AICPA Information Technology Division. He has authored several publications for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has lectured extensively for the profession. In addition, Mr. Leach is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. A past member of the Desert Pacific Council Executive Board, he currently serves as a Varsity Coach. He is active in his church and the father of three active boys, who all keep him busy. He is an avid outdoors' man who likes camping, hiking and scuba diving.
