Beginning with the 2004 tax filing season, taxpayers filing Georgia Form 700 (Georgia Partnership Income Tax Return) are required to include a copy of their federal Form 1065 (U.S. Return of Partnership Income), including all Schedules K-1. Click here for more details.
2005 Standard Mileage Rates Set - The IRS released the optional standard mileage rates to use for 2005 in computing the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving expense purposes.
Guidance on Requirements for Disclosing Reportable Transactions - The Treasury Department and the IRS issued interim guidance reflecting changes to the requirements for disclosure of reportable transactions by taxpayers and material advisors made by the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004. Notice 2004-80 provides guidance to material advisors who are required to comply with the new reporting and list maintenance requirements, and invites comments from the public regarding rules and standards for implementation.

These meetings give us the opportunity to present questions regarding practice issues and to work in cooperation with the IRS and the state to solve problems we may encounter.
