The Georgia Society of CPAs monitors State and Federal legislation regarding all matters affecting the accounting profession. Working with the Georgia Department of Revenue, the Society sponsors legislation that provides a positive impact on businesses and consumers in Georgia.
Members of The Georgia Society of CPAs adhere to a Code of Professional Conduct. The Code provides guidance and rules to all members; those in public practice, industry, government and education for performance of professional responsibility.
Receiving important news about the accounting profession is a benefit of GSCPA membership. GSCPA publishes a number of publications and directories for the CPA community including Current Accounts and The Voice.
This bi-monthly magazine is mailed to all GSCPA members to keep them informed of important developments impacting the profession, the organization’s activities, continuing education, and helpful services available through the Society.
This HTML-based, electronic newsletter is published the first Monday of each month. Content is selected to inform members about time sensitive issues impacting the accounting profession, educational opportunities and special events.
