Andrea graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Accounting in 1991. From there, she went to graduate school at University of Georgia and earned a Master of Accountancy in Taxation in 1993. She has been working in public accounting since June 1993. She passed the CPA exam in 1995. Andrea worked with two other public acounting firms in Augusta before coming to work at Serotta Maddocks Evans & Company, CPAs in 2000. In July 2009, she became partner in the firm. Andrea is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Augusta Estate Planning Council, and the Medical Group Management Association. She enjoys working with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Jefferson County and serving as a Board Member of the Augusta Chapter of the American Red Cross. She has also held several offices and participated on several committees at church. Andrea also co-moderates roundtables for small business owners and medical practice adminstrators that meet monthly at SME. Andrea enjoys playing golf, playing the piano and traveling as much as possible.
